One Life
We went out to the cinema this week courtesy of the owners of Simba - the dog we're sitting.
We chose to watch One Life which portrays the true story of Nicholas Winton's efforts to save Jewish children in German-occupied Czechoslovakia just before the outbreak of the second World War. It was very emotional when Sir Nicholas got to meet many of those whose lives he saved about fifty years later.
It was definitely worth watching and you couldn't help thinking of parallels today with the wretched way that victims of violence get treated when they try and seek asylum. Check out the trailer below.
